Startups chosen for incubation will receive funding of up to Rs 50 lakh. ‘Indian start-ups working on novel technology or business models in the agri-food and related industries are encouraged to apply,’ ABI-ICRISAT Head Aravazhi Selvaraj said in a statement on Tuesday.

‘Our last call for applications under the NIDHI-SSP received a good response.’ ‘ We eagerly await applications from creative agri-tech start-ups in response to our second request,’ he stated.

‘This seed fund support will enable graduates to reach the next levels of growth and fundraising,’ stated Victor Afari-Sefa, Icrisat’s Global Research Program Director (Enabling Systems Transformation).

The deadline for application submission is November 30, 2022.
