In addition to farmers, many young people, especially girls attended Krishi Mela
Over 2.45 lakh people attended the Krishi Mela on its second day, which took place on Friday, at the University of Agricultural Sciences-GKVK Bengaluru’s campus in Bengaluru. The event is being organized by the University of Agricultural Sciences—Bengaluru.
On the first day of the mela, which was on Thursday, there were as many as 1.6 lakh people who attended. Due to the fact that it is the weekend, an increase in the total is anticipated throughout the next two days.

While this was going on, the total volume of business transactions that were recorded by the stalls grew to 2.1 crores from the 1.12 crore that was recorded on the first day. In addition to the farmers from the area, there were a lot of young people, especially girls, at the mela.
Large numbers of people visited the live crop demonstration plots, as well as the agricultural machinery expo and the stalls set up by self-help groups. During the event, awards were handed out to the most successful farmers and farmwomen on the district and taluk levels.
