Agriculture Infra Fund with a corpus of ₹ 1 lakh crore will be loaned out by 2025-26
Agriculture Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said in Rajya Sabha on Friday that the Centre has approved over 9,000 applications and sanctioned ₹ 6,540 crores for the development of agri-infrastructure projects.

Tomar stated in his written reply to the Rajya Sabha that ‘On the AIF portal, 16,026 applications totaling ₹ 10,627 crores have been received to date. A total of 9,019 applications totaling ₹ 6,540 crores have been approved.’
This amount has been sanctioned through the Agriculture Infra Fund (AIF), which provides a financing facility for investment in viable projects for post-harvest management infrastructure and community farming assets through interest subvention and credit guarantee facility.
