FarMart to Roll Out AI-Powered Market Linkage Tool by Year-End

FarMart, a leading food supply platform serving Asia, West Asia, and Africa, is rolling out a new AI agentic model to enhance market linkage for its users. This conversational tool, currently in beta testing with early adopters, acts as a real-time intelligence layer for farmers, processors, and buyers.

The AI agent helps users with a variety of tasks, including analyzing market trends and pricing, tracking shipments, managing business accounts, and identifying potential buyers. By using natural language, users can interact with the tool as a smart, always-on assistant, simplifying complex decisions and reducing their dependence on traditional brokers and delayed information. Early feedback has been positive, with users reporting improved decision-making.

Public Launch Planned for Year-End

FarMart plans to publicly launch the new AI product by the end of the year. The company will include support for regional languages and voice-first features to make the tool more accessible.

By integrating this AI agent with its existing backend systems, FarMart is building a fully intelligent supply chain that connects farms, factories, and customers in real time. Also Read | Climate Change Slashing Crop Yields; AI, Genome-Edited Crops Offer Solutions

AI at the Core of FarMart’s Success

FarMart has grown to become India’s largest agri-food output platform without relying on a large network of warehouses or transport fleets. Instead, the company credits its success to embedding AI at the core of its operations.

According to Alekh Sanghera, CEO and co-founder of FarMart, this focus on AI has solidified FarMart’s position as a leader in the industry. “We are steadily progressing toward becoming one of the most important companies of our era to deliver food safety for the country,” Sanghera stated.

FarMart currently connects more than 3.8 million farmers and 1,100 food-processing units with 3,000 institutional buyers across India, West Asia, and Africa.
