Nutrifresh welcomes a Dutch delegation to their hydroponic farm
Nutrifresh, an agri-tech start-up that focuses on hydroponically grown, fresh, clean, green, residue-free, and chemical-free produce, welcomed a Dutch delegation to their farm in Talegaon and helped them understand how technology has changed Indian agriculture.
The co-founders of Nutrifresh Farm Tech India Pvt Ltd, Sanket Mehta, and Ganesh Nikam, talked to agricultural experts from the Kingdom of the Netherlands Embassy, who were in India as part of the Dutch horticulture trade mission.
The agricultural experts were there as part of the bilateral trade with India called ‘NLHortiRoad2India.’

The horticultural trade mission was made up of nine Dutch companies that wanted to learn more about the fresh food market in India and how demand and supply are changing.
Steady production
In a statement, Sanket Mehta said, ‘We’ve built India’s biggest hydroponic farm in Pune, and we’re proud to show it off to our international guests.’ Our team at Nutrifresh is very dedicated to bringing focused hydroponic farming that is strong, tech-enabled, based on the Internet of Things (IoT), and gives consistent production.

Nutrifresh already has a protected cultivation facility where they use high-quality seeds from Israel and Europe. The air is controlled, the water is RO-purified, and the nutrients are water-soluble.
The whole process is managed, from getting the seeds and letting them grow in a nursery to harvesting, packaging, and sending the finished product to the customer.
