Foreign delegates explore collaboration and technology transfer at IIPMB
According to a statement, eleven delegates hailing from six different nations, including Tajikistan, Nigeria, Niger, Ethiopia, the Maldives, and Botswana, paid a visit to the Indian Institute of Plantation Management in Bengaluru (IIMB) on Friday in order to investigate the possibilities of working together on the dissemination of innovations and the transfer of technology.
Discussions were held between these delegates representing various departments from their respective countries, including agriculture, education, the environment, forests, and international relations. The topics of these discussions included potential opportunities for bilateral collaboration.

Participating in the discussions were members of the IIPM team led by Rakesh Mohan Joshi, Director of the IIPMB; Sarbani Mukherjee, Associate Professor of Economics and Policy; John Manoraj, Professor of Branding and Marketing; Chenna Kesava Reddy Sangati, Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Technology; and Shilpa S, International office.
Sreekanta Sharma participated in the programme on behalf of the National Institute of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME), which was funded by the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme of the Ministry of External Affairs.
