On November 17 and 18, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) will host a virtual agriculture summit and awards ceremony. This initiative’s Knowledge partner is YES Bank.
The summit, titled ‘FICCI to host virtual agriculture summit ceremony on Nov 17-18,’ aims to bring together all key stakeholders and policymakers on a single platform to brainstorm an implementable strategy for smart and sustainable agriculture.

‘The overall goal of the initiative is to discuss and highly suggest workable pathways for large-scale promotion and adoption of sustainable agricultural practises, as well as to raise awareness about the already available solutions for smart and sustainable agriculture,’ FICCI officials stated.’
The plenary sessions will cover topics such as strengthening agri-inputs to increase productivity and farm incomes in the long run, post-harvest interventions for a more sustainable supply chain, impactful partnerships for climate-resilient agriculture, and collaboration with the BRICS (Five emerging economies countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.) for sustainable agriculture development.
During the event, FICCI- YES Bank Knowledge Report entitled ‘India Beyond 75: Envisioning Smart and Sustainable Agriculture will be released. On November 18, there will also be a ‘Special Session with Government’ and the ‘FICCI Sustainable Agriculture Awards’ ceremony.
