Ayekart and Grameen Foundation India sign strategic partnership for FPOs
Ayekart, an agrifood fintech platform, has announced a strategic partnership with the Grameen Foundation India. This collaboration aims to expand Ayekart’s Ayekrishi platform (PaaS) and market linkage services with embedded finance to Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) affiliated with the Grameen Foundation in India, thereby increasing financial inclusion and empowering marginalized communities, particularly women.FPOs can use Ayekrishi to connect with markets and suppliers. The platform includes planning features to help FPOs organise their operations more effectively, as well as advisory suggestions to help FPOs make decisions and develop strategies.

The primary goal of Ayekart’s collaboration with the Grameen Foundation is to integrate Ayekrishi into market linkage activities and FPO management administered by Grameen. This collaboration will greatly benefit the FPOs, including access to various marketable commodities and assistance in the procurement and sale of produce based on demand and supply conditions.

Grameen supports these efforts, which align with its mission of connecting farmers/FPOs to remunerative markets. The foundation’s involvement will ensure that FPOs have the necessary support and resources to effectively leverage the Ayekrishi platform.
