Agro startups may play a significant role in the country’s growth – CM Bommai
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Thursday that agro startups may play a significant role in the country’s growth, adding that there was a lot going on in the agriculture sector.
In his statement at the Unicorn Summit and Awards Ceremony-2022, organized by Businessworld magazine, the chief minister stated that agriculture was a critical industry because it employed the majority of the country’s inhabitants.
‘A lot is going on in the agricultural sector, including the creation of new crop kinds. The notion of integrated farming is gaining traction. Farm management has shifted. Fishing, poultry, sheep raising, and dairy farming have all created new possibilities. Through innovation and innovative thinking, startups may contribute value to the whole sector,’ he added.
Startups are the world’s future, and they should focus on social responsibility and universal wellbeing.
