WPPS hosted Global CEO Conclave 2024 for a comprehensive roadmap
The Wheat Products Promotion Society (WPPS) hosted a Global CEO Conclave 2024, which proposed a comprehensive roadmap for the wheat industry’s future development.
The two-day conclave, which concluded on June 26 in New Delhi, advocated for the sector’s future through innovation, sustainability, and collaboration.” By embracing these suggestions, industry stakeholders can work together to ensure a bright future for the global wheat sector, one that benefits producers, consumers, and the environment alike,” according to a statement from WPPS.
Guiding framework
As the wheat industry moves forward, the conclave’s insights and recommendations will serve as a guiding framework for achieving long-term growth and sustainability, in line with the 2030 vision, it stated.
The focus was on flour fortification, which has the potential to reduce micronutrient deficiencies in 30% of the world’s population, wheat economics in the face of market volatility, and India’s critical role in improving global food security as it is the world’s second-largest wheat producer.
