On the 10th global anniversary of Veganuary, ten Indian vegans are backing an egan campaign (a global campaign to try vegan).

According to a YouGov survey conducted in December 2021, 65 percent of Indians planned to eat more plant-based/vegan dishes in 2022. In January 2022, India had the third-highest number of people joining up to try veganism, trailing only the United Kingdom and the United States.
Growth in the next two years
The Indian plant-based meat market, which is presently worth $30-$40 million, is likely to grow to $500 million in the next two years, according to the report, which also predicts that plant-based dairy sales in India will increase from $21 million to $63.9 million by 2024.
