The cloud platform is part of the Board’s ongoing efforts to add increasing value to Indian cardamom trade and export by integrating nascent technologies to facilitate tangible increases in the return value, convenience, transparency, and good price in cardamom trade.
The cloud-based live e-auction facility is intended as a technologically-enabled solution to the existing obstacles that traders face when participating in auctions that require interstate travel.
On Monday, Dean Kuriakose, Member of Parliament (MP) for Idukki and member of the Spices Board, will launch the cloud-based live e-auction. A G Thankappan, Chairman of the Spices Board, will preside over the event. D Sathiyan, Secretary of the Spices Board, will deliver the keynote address.

Sathiyan, Secretary, Spices Board.
