SLCM wins ‘Sustainable Agriculture Awards 2022’ the FICCI award
FICCI has awarded Sohan Lal Commodity Management (SLCM), the ‘Sustainable Agriculture Awards 2022. SLCM is a service provider in the post-harvest arena for agricultural commodities.
According to a firm source, this is the second edition of the awards, and SLCM has retained its honour in the area of ‘Innovative Product/Technology/Services Promoting Sustainable Agriculture.’

The prize was given to SLCM for its contribution to large enterprise innovation through its proprietary ‘AgriReach’ process management system. According to the company, the ‘AgriReach’ framework of services used in warehouses has helped decrease post-harvest losses to 0.5%. This is accomplished through a variety of processes, audits, and real-time tracking to enhance efficiency and minimize damage in storage.

To assure safe storage, the system additionally employs technologies such as geo-fencing, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), internet of things (IoT)-based surveillance, real-time tracking, and bar-coded storage receipts.
