‘one nation, one man, one fertilizer,’ was how the Indian National Congress referred to the rumored directive from the government that directs all fertilizer companies to sell their products under a single brand name. The organization issued its criticism of the order on Thursday.
According to reports in the media, the government issued an order directing all companies to sell their products under the single brand name of ‘Bharat’ in an effort to standardize the various types of fertilizer brands that are sold throughout the country. This move was made in an effort to bring about nationwide uniformity.
