Together with the Telangana Artificial Intelligence Mission (T-AIM), the National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) has launched an Innovation Factory to identify and promote innovative artificial intelligence solutions to address challenges in the farming industry.
For start-ups, they have confirmed an ‘innovation challenge’ encouraging new ideas that can create farmers’ lives easier by assisting them boost income levels.

The winners will have an opportunity to win ₹1 lakh of cash prizes, whereas the runner-up would get ₹ 50,000.
The Nasscom problem will concentrate on precision agriculture to maximize yields; real-time money creation and volume management; agri-product e-marketplaces; and farm funding tools focused on farm output-backed credit risk assessment.
Innovators will also be able to showcase their technologies for AI solution development on a wider scale and take advantage of the opportunity to launch a pilot project in Telangana, said a Nasscom spokesman.

The participants will receive mentoring from different government institutions and ecosystem partners in Telangana.
The competition is open to start-ups, businesses and organisations that are involved in the region. Each team is given 6 weeks to work on the case for use. January 24th is the last day to register for the challenge. On 30 March, the results will be out.
