“In horticulture production the Karnataka state is in the eighth and but first place in the horticulture extension. Our aim is to reach the second or third place in the coming period, the minister stated in the meeting”.
The Horticulture Minister pointed out that prices have collapsed because farmers rely solely on one crop and grow abundantly.
In order to control excessive production, research institutes should encourage farmers to adopt an integrated farming system (IFS), he added.
