The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has directed research and resource managers at the National Agricultural Research and Education System (NARES) to initiate inter-institutional collaborative projects to maximize resource utilization.

R C Aggarwal, Deputy Director-General, Education, said teamwork was critical for organizational success during a meeting here on Wednesday to commemorate the 46th Foundation Day of the National Academy of Agricultural Research Management.
He stated that the World Bank has praised the National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP), which is being carried out in collaboration with ICAR institutes and State Agriculture Universities. The World Bank is funding this project.
He dedicated a National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) developed agri-technology park and herbal garden.
Farmers, NAARM employees, start-ups, and journalists received awards from the ICAR DDG for their contributions to the primary sector.
