CRIDA & AACN to host the annual cooperators’ conference on October 17-18.
The annual cooperators’ conference will be held here on October 17 and 18. It will be put on by the Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) and the Anglo-American Crop Nutrients (AACN).
According to VK Singh, Director of CRIDA, the conference would provide a venue for academics, academic institutes, and fertiliser industry representatives to shed light on crop nutrition research practices. It would go over nutritionally balanced crop methods.

According to AACN Country Manager Neeraj Kumar Awasthi, employing Poly4 as a source of potassium, sulphate-sulphur, magnesium, and calcium is more efficient and effective for farmers in terms of sustainable fertiliser techniques. Poly4 is a polyhalite-based multi-nutrient and low-chloride fertiliser.
‘It is appropriate for all crops and soil types.’ This naturally occurring Poly4 can be used as a low-impact multi-nutrient fertiliser. This would make it easier for farmers to develop balanced, lower carbon, and soil-enhancing fertiliser blends,’ he said in a statement issued on Sunday.
The two-day meeting would focus on nitrogen management in horticultural crops, cereal-based cropping systems, industrial and cash crops, and so on.
