KRRS, Hasiru Sene to siege Vidhana Soudha demanding abolish farm laws in state

On Monday, the Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS) and Hasiru Sene will lay siege to Vidhana Soudha, asking that the state government abolish the three agricultural laws during the legislative session.

Though the Centre revoked the legislations after a 13-month protest, the Karnataka government has failed to do so, according to a press statement from Kodihalli Chandrashekar, president of the Sangha.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai promised to remove these regulations during the future session during the winter session in Belagavi. However, he stated that no such decision has been made.

Members of the Sangha will march from Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station, requesting the government to repeal the legislation. It should be noted that Bengaluru police have issued an order forbidding any protests within a two-kilometer radius of Vidhana Soudha.
