G20: A meeting of the Agriculture Working Group will be held in Indore

Around 100 delegates from G20 member countries will meet in Indore on Monday for the first meeting of the Agriculture Deputies Meeting (ADM) of the Agriculture Working Group (AWG). They will talk about climate-smart farming and food security, among other things.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, will give a speech at the first event. Millets and its food products with added value, as well as stalls from Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, will be a big part of an exhibition that will be held at the same time as the event.

On the first day, people will talk about issues related to agriculture. On the second day, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia is likely to speak to the group of international experts and G20 country representatives. The last day will be used to talk about the most important things the AWG will do.

Group on Earth Observations: Global Agricultural Monitoring Initiative, Tropical Agricultural Platform (TAP), wheat initiative, Platform for Agricultural Risk Management (PARM), and Technical Platform on Measurement and Reduction of Food Loss and Waste (TPFLW) will all give presentations.
