‘Mango production this year is substantially higher than in the previous two years due to the favorable weather for mango plantation. We will provide a huge quantity of mangoes in the next months, and the traditional mango season in Maharashtra will begin at the end of February’ Sawant stated.

According to Bappu Bhosale, head of the Market Yard traders and agents’ group, ‘Mango farmers in the Konkan area have suffered significant losses in the last two years as a result of Covid and other weather conditions. However, there has been a good production of mangoes this year, and we are hoping for a good season and a profitable business this year.’
