Dhanuka Agritech and the University hope to increase farmers’ income by enhancing agricultural production through this collaboration. They will organize a combined awareness program for providing agro extension services. Farmers will be encouraged to employ cutting-edge agricultural technology such as drone artificial intelligence (AI) and precision agriculture.

‘There is an urgent need to undertake more R&D (research and development) efforts in agriculture, and the collaboration with an institution like MHU would assist us in promoting research operations in agriculture and related activities,’ Tomar added.

“There is a great need for collaborative efforts between academic research institutions and reputable enterprises eager to promote research and development activities in various areas including agriculture and allied activities,” Singh said, exuding confidence that the collaborative effort will encourage more students to pursue research.

According to the firm, the university will undertake demonstration/adaptive trials of Dhanuka Agritech’s novel molecules/products at its farms as well as farmer’s fields and will consider incorporating the findings (active component alone) into procedures.

Dhanuka will also support the university’s bio-efficacy and phyto-toxicity initiatives for managing insects and pests using drones. Also Read | IIL & SVPUAT agri varsity sign MoU to educate farmers on use of agrochemicals
