KRIBHCO the premier National level Cooperative Society of India has been engaged in the business of importing, producing, marketing fertilizers, agricultural inputs including seeds.

CSC created an Agri services platform earlier this year to facilitate Agri inputs such as seeds, manure, and pesticides, rent and hire of farm machinery and implements, and trading of Agri produce, among other things, through its VLEs and farmer producer organizations (FPOs).

In a statement, CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd Managing Director Dinesh Tyagi said, ‘Our alliance with KRIBHCO is a step ahead in furthering the government’s agenda in serving the farming community.

Last-mile supply of fertilizers, seeds, and other agricultural products is ‘an essential part of our activities at CSCs, and the partnership will help us reach out to farmers in the villages with timely supply of reliable and quality Agri inputs,’ he adds.

According to Rajan Chowdhry, Managing Director of KRIBHCO, this partnership will usher in a new era where farmers can get cost-effective Agri inputs at the click of a mouse and smartphones, promoting ‘Digital India.’
