Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar reviewed the work being done on a database that will make it easy to find farmers who are eligible for the PM-KISAN and other schemes.

In a virtual meeting with state agriculture ministers, Tomar asked states to finish verifying and updating data as soon as possible so that no eligible farmer is left out of the schemes’ benefits.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, eligible farmer families receive a financial benefit of ₹ 6,000 per year, paid out in three equal payments of ₹ 2,000.
